From 2022 to 2024 a medium-term maintenance plan has been put in place by Fruit Terminal Company (Terminal Handling operator) to renew our Port facility chillers (to brand new) and our pipes network insulation. Thanks to a significant investment in 2 tranches, Technical team lead by Mr Koomson has been able to reduce by close to 50% the power consumption, thus carbon footprint, of FTC cold room facility. Some operational adjustments and technical improvements on door openings and temperature alerts also importantly participated to get to this beneficial performance.
